Use AHA resources as you celebrate hospitals, health systems and health care workers May 11-17

Americans count on their hospitals and health systems to keep them healthy, help them heal, and be there at the tough moments and the best. National Hospital Week is an opportunity to highlight our hospitals, health systems and health care workers and the innovative ways they are supporting and connecting to their community.

The latest video from the AHA celebrates National Hospital Week, May 11-17, by showing viewers the many different people who make up hospitals and health systems and who are always there, ready to care. Watch here and share to celebrate our communities’ caregivers.

It takes so many people, with so many talents, to ensure hospitals and health systems can provide the care their communities need. The AHA and its Professional Membership Groups have provided additional resources, including stories from the field and customizable graphics, to recognize the many different professionals working in hospitals and health systems. Use them to shout out your facilities professionals, environmental services team, risk management team, supply chain professionals, marketing and communications team, and capacity management team!

NATIONAL NURSES WEEK RESOURCES

During National Nurses Week, May 6-12, the AHA’s American Organization for Nursing Leadership celebrates with the theme Care, Lead, Inspire — Repeat. Find resources to recognize nurses this week and celebrate them as the heart of health care.
