June 26 is the deadline to submit comments on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ proposed rules for inpatient rehabilitation facilities and skilled nursing facilities for fiscal year 2018. For more on the rules, see last month’s AHA Regulatory Advisories for members on the proposed IRF and SNF provisions. CMS recently extended the comment deadline to Aug. 25 for its advance notice of proposed reforms to the SNF prospective payment system for FY 2019.
