The Health Care Payment Learning and Action Network has launched a collaborative to accelerate the transition to alternative payment models to advance resiliency to events such as the COVID-19 public health emergency.

The LAN Healthcare Resiliency Collaborative will prioritize addressing root causes that contribute to poorer health outcomes for at-risk populations and promoting equity in APM design and implementation; calibrating population-based APMs to account for varying needs for capital and non-financial supports among providers; and advancing whole-person and person-centered care.

HHS launched the network in 2016 as a forum for public-private partnerships to advance health care payment models that promote quality and value.
