States can apply for $14.2 million in ARPA funding to expand pediatric mental health care

Eligible states and tribal organizations can apply through July 6 for up to $445,000 each from the American Rescue Plan Act to implement telehealth networks to help primary care providers diagnose, treat and refer children with mental health conditions and substance use disorders, the Health Resources and Services Administration announced this week.

HRSA expects the funding to expand the Pediatric Mental Health Care Access Program to 32 additional states and tribal organizations.
