Brooke Buckley, M.D., chief medical officer for Henry Ford Wyandotte (Mich.) Hospital is chair-elect. New to the committee for 2023 are: Richard Bottner, vice president of clinical excellence for the Colorado Hospital Association; Hoyt Burdick, M.D., chief medical officer for Mountain Health Network in Huntington, W.Va.; Loretta Christensen, M.D., chief medical officer for the Indian Health Service; Steven Diaz, M.D., chief medical officer for MaineGeneral Health in Augusta, Maine; Mary Peterson, M.D., executive vice president and chief operating officer at Driscoll Health System, Corpus Christi, Texas; and James Porter, M.D., president of Deaconess Health System, Evansville, Ind. 
 
The Committee on Clinical Leadership serves as a clinical resource on policy issues and guides the ongoing work of the AHA Physician Alliance.
