SAMHSA announces behavioral health grants
States can apply through May 20 for up to $2 million to partner with communities to integrate primary and behavioral health care in clinical practices and $900,000 to implement a primary care model that integrates mental health and substance use conditions, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration announced March 22. Among other grant opportunities, local governments and mental health systems can apply through April 26 for up to $750,000 to implement assisted outpatient treatment programs to support adults with serious mental illness.
