HHS WEBINARS OCT. 20 AND OCT. 22 ON COVID-19 DATA REPORTING

HHS’ Office of Intergovernmental Affairs Oct. 20 and Oct. 22 will host webinars on which administration officials will discuss the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ interpretative guidance on how it will implement an interim final rule that makes collecting and reporting COVID-19 data a condition of participation for hospitals that participate in Medicare. The guidance, which was released earlier this month, includes new reporting requirements for hospitals, as well as enforcement provisions. See the Oct. 6 AHA Special Bulletin for more details on the guidance.

Click here to register for the Oct. 20 webinar at 4 p.m. ET, and click here to register for the Oct. 22 webinar at 1 p.m. ET. HHS says the webinar presentations will be identical, and hospitals and health systems that participate will have the opportunity to ask questions.
