Northwell Health, New York State's largest health care provider and private-sector employer, today received the 2018 AHA Quest for Quality Prize for its exemplary achievements in improving and preserving access to care, addressing the social determinants of health and encouraging innovation. Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD, and Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee were honored as finalists while Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC, and Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN, received the Citation of Merit. "These hospitals and health systems have been remarkable leaders in elevating the quality of care they provide to their patients and communities while demonstrating an organization-wide commitment to excellence," said AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack. "The lessons provided by this year's winner and honorees serve as an inspiration to the entire field." The awards are supported by a grant from RL Solutions.
