AHA, AMA and ANA Release PSA as Part of Campaign Urging the Public to Wear a Mask
AHA, AMA and ANA Release Public Service Announcement as Part of Campaign Urging the Public to Wear a Mask to Help Stop the Spread of COVID-19
Together, the AHA, the American Medical Association (AMA) and American Nurses Association (ANA) today released a public service announcement (PSA) urging the American public to take three simple steps to help stop the spread of COVID-19: wear a mask, practice physical distancing and wash hands frequently.
The PSA is the first element of AHA’s comprehensive Wear A Mask campaign to increase public acceptance of these essential actions and builds upon the joint open letter to the public released earlier this month by AHA, AMA and ANA.
In conjunction with the release of the PSA, AHA will provide content and resources for hospitals and health systems, along with other partner organizations, to adapt and use. This will include PSAs in both Spanish and English, radio and digital ads, editorial content and social media posts. You can access these resources on AHA’s website.
