Who is it for?

Uninsured and underinsured Will County residents.

Why do they do it?

Twenty years ago, the Will-Grundy Medical Clinic was born out of a need to address an increasing segment of the population that lacked access to health care.

Impact

In 2011, patients of the clinic received $9.7 million of contributed services. Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center accepted 38 WGMC patients for surgical procedures and related services, valued at more than $3 million. More than 1,500 related services – including radiology, diagnostic testing, and treatments – were also donated. In addition,  the Associated Anesthesiologists of Joliet donated services valued at just under $88,000.
