Several sessions also will focus on the future of rural health care.

Other notable content at AHA’s Leadership Summit focused on health care innovation includes:

  • A plenary session about the future of health care innovation, including the potential impact of generative AI.
  • Sessions with nontraditional providers and disruptors, like Amazon and Walgreens, on their near-term plans for health care, including working with hospitals.
  • An interactive Q&A session on health care governance.
  • Breakout sessions on environmental sustainability and on climate change and health equity.
  • Sessions on strategic investing to fund health care innovation, including how hospitals and health systems can work with and engage with startups for impact.
