Managing your hospital pharmacy during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond

COVID-19 continues to dramatically impact the short- and long-term strategies of hospitals and health systems, leaving much uncertainty regarding future financial stability and the ability to maintain excellent care for patients. Cancellation of nonelective procedures put facilities behind, reducing inpatient census and critically impacting hospital revenues. About two-thirds of hospital pharmacies have reduced staff as a result.
