The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) July 16 published a final rule regarding the Public Charge Ground of Inadmissibility. DHS finalized the rule as it was proposed on Nov. 19, 2025. The rule rescinds the public charge ground of inadmissibility regulations put forward in 2022.
