Amazon Launches Accelerator for Digital Health Startups
Continuing its focus on health care innovation, Amazon Web Services has launched a four-week technical, business and mentorship accelerator program open to U.S.-based health care startups and international startups with existing U.S. operations.
The program aims to support companies and startups developing products to improve outcomes, reduce costs and enhance patient and provider clinical experiences. AWS and KidsX — an ecosystem of pediatric health innovators — will provide companies with guidance on key priorities, including defining business models, integrating electronic health records and generating commercial traction for their products.
Applications and proposals for the program are due by July 23. Ten startup companies — with established customers, revenue and product-market fit — will be selected to participate in the first cohort.
