AHA’s Institute for Diversity and Health Equity extended the deadline for its biennial Health Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Survey to Tuesday, March 15. The survey will help paint an accurate picture of the state of health equity, diversity and inclusion in hospitals and health systems. Hospital CEOs and leaders who work on diversity, equity and inclusivity issues received a reminder email yesterday with instructions on how to complete the survey. The survey should be completed by organizational leaders whose focus is on health equity and/or diversity and inclusion initiatives.

For more information on how this survey can help the field advance its efforts to promote diversity and inclusivity, read the recent blog by Joy A. Lewis, AHA’s senior vice president of health equity strategies and IFDHE’s executive director.
