Across the country, AHA members are finding new and innovative ways to advance patient safety. Hospitals and health systems are focusing on fostering a culture of safety at the leadership level, addressing disparities in health care outcomes, enhancing workforce safety and integrating innovation into best practices.

Patient Safety Insights Report Series

The AHA partnered with data analytics firms Vizient and Press Ganey to better understand the trajectory of patient safety improvements. A new relationship with Epic in 2025 resulted in a toolkit designed to improve maternal health outcomes for moms and babies.
