HHS Announces Expanded Eligibility for General Distribution Funds

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that it has expanded the providers eligible for its Public Health and Social Services Emergency Fund “General Distribution.”
HHS clarified that those who bill Medicare, Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care or CHIP, or are a dental provider, are eligible to apply as long as they have not already received 2% of their patient revenue from the fund. They also stated that first-time or previous applicants may apply as long as they haven’t already received 2% of their patient revenue.
