Patient Safety Awareness Week March 10-16, 2019

Patient Safety Awareness Week (PSAW) will be March 10-16, 2019. This celebration is sponsored by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), which has now merged with the National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF). Though hospitals and health systems prioritize patient safety every day of the week, PSAW is an opportunity for health care organizations to highlight their work and resources on patient safety. The AHA will share information about the work that member hospitals are doing through social media channels like Twitter and Facebook, and this website, which has links to resources and information on patient safety from across the AHA.
