Leaders of Rush University Health System (RUSH) in Chicago began implementing the 4Ms Framework to improve the lives of older adult patients, their families and caregivers and, in the process, RUSH employees.
Kent Hospital in Rhode Island opened an Adult Care for Elders (ACE) unit to test and implement the Age-Friendly Health Systems 4Ms Framework. Since opening, the unit has seen a reduction in length of stay and falls with injury, along with an increase in patient and staff satisfaction.
