The Definition and Delivery of Culturally Competent Care to LGBT Patients: Evidence from a Community Driven Model

Little is known about the unique health needs and experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender patients across demographic groups, and the experiences of these patients within the entire health service encounter. This case study looks at funded investigation of the comprehensive health experiences of a race, class and age diverse sample of LGBT patients in Connecticut.
