Workshop Schedule and Overview

Our sustainment workshops offer practical, actionable strategies to help you prepare for training, activate internal champions and embed TeamSTEPPS into your organizational culture. Participants can choose one or multiple sessions and will gain exclusive access to sustainment guides, resources and checklists – plus the chance to connect with peers nationwide to share insights and solutions.

Preparing for TeamSTEPPS Essentials April 7 from 12:00-1:30 pm CT

Lay the groundwork for planning and executing TeamSTEPPS Essentials courses – from course content and teaching strategies to training logistics and key resources. This session will equip you with everything you need to confidently prepare and deliver streamlined, time-efficient Essentials trainings that focus on the core TeamSTEPPS tools for end users.

The People of a TeamSTEPPS Implementation July 8 from 12:00-1:30 pm CT

Explore the critical roles that drive successful implementation—Master Trainers, leaders and champions—and how to activate them. Gain insight into the essential function of organizational and departmental change teams in launching and sustaining a TeamSTEPPS program.

Strategies for Long-Term Sustainability October 20 from 12:00-1:30 pm CT

Ensure sustainable success by learning how to embed TeamSTEPPS into the fabric of your organization with practical communication strategies, clear accountability, meaningful recognition, and ongoing engagement from the boardroom to the bedside.

Course Details

  • The registration fee is $150 per person for each workshop session. For teams of 3 or more attending the same session(s), we offer an additional discount of $25 off each person's registration. To get the team discount, please complete online registration for all team members in a single session. The team discount(s) will be automatically applied as team members are added. If you would like to register team members individually, or add team members to an existing group, please email TeamTraining@aha.org to receive instructions.
