Who is it for?

Spartanburg residents

Why do they do it?

Approximately 2,200 people die every day in the United States from heart disease. Everyone can take steps to protect cardiac health by participating in routine screening and, when symptoms persist, seeking medical care as soon as possible. Education, awareness, lifestyle choices and knowing what to do if someone is suspected of having a heart attack can make a significant difference in surviving a cardiac event.

Impact

More than 400 people attended Day of Dance; 375 people attended CPR training; and approximately 115 people were screened.
