Lightbeam Health Solutions and Saint Peter's University Hospital, a 478-bed acute-care teaching hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., have achieved a 7.1% reduction in emergency department visits among high-risk patients. The decrease was driven by Lightbeam’s AI-enabled program that predicts which patients are at risk of avoidable ED visits within 90 days.
