The Next Generation Leaders Fellowship welcomes a class of up to 36 talented health care leaders each year, including 12 Age-Friendly Health System scholarship recipients. During the 12-month fellowship program, participants hone essential skills, such as leading and effecting change, navigating the health care environment, driving transformation, improving care delivery, and developing operational strategies for success.

Age-Friendly Scholarship Recipient

 

2021 – 2022 Next Gen Fellows

The Next Generation Leaders Fellowship welcomed its 2021 cohort of mentors. Each of the 32 fellows of the Next Gen Leaders Fellowship was matched with an executive level health care leader during the 12-month program. Fellows and mentors worked closely throughout the year on a capstone project and other professional development goals.

The John A. Hartford Foundation is providing scholarships for a cohort of Age-Friendly Fellows. These fellows will be asked to implement the Age-Friendly Health Systems 4Ms Framework at their organization for their capstone project in the fellowship program.

In the 2021 - 2022 year the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is also providing scholarships to support a group of Project Firstline Fellows. These fellows will be asked to implement infection prevention and control improvement initiatives at their organization for their capstone project in the fellowship program.
